We will now prepare the ECG sites. The electrodes used here will record the participant's heart rhythm overnight.

There are three locations on the torso: 

​

1. lower left ribs

2. left upper chest just below the collar bone

3. right upper chest just below the collar bone

 

If there is hair over these areas, shave it before proceeding.

Swab each area first then return to each with the abrasive gel for 30 seconds.
